Sometimes we all like to order food to be delivered. For reasons of Sunday night laziness, work business or an easy office lunch, there is a growing myriad of online delivery services and a hit-or-miss gamble when it comes to ordering Asian food. And of course in order to feed our ever-growing passionate hunger for sushi and Asian delicacies.
Eating Asian and Sushi at Chung Street Kitchen
One failsafe gem we can highly recommend over has saved our lunch lives and dinner desperation over the last couple of years – Chung Street Kitchen. Their menu selection of sushi, Vietnamese style curry dishes and the usual starters and coconutty desserts seems same-same but the special ingredients, rapid service and very reasonable prices has made Chung one of our real favorites.
You can either chose to eat here, or use the functionality of delivery. The restaurant itself is situated on the Schlesische Strasse and has sunny outside seating for summery lunches, should you manage to escape the office or end up here whilst wandering the streets of Berlin. The delivery service’s shining stars are the authentic Vietnamese specialties especially the “Nudelngerichte” and “Duftreisgerichte” (deliciously fragrant rice). The Gaeng Phet red curry, Gaeng Kiaw Waan green curry and Gaang Matsaman yellow curries are our personal favorites. They are flavoursome and spicey, without one losing any feeling in the taste buds.
Good Asian Food in Kreuzberg
Smooth flavors with just the right hint of spice, packed with vegetables and your choice of chicken, prawns, beef, duck or tofu depending on your mood. Team one of these curries with a cool Goi Du Du papaya salad – finely sliced fruit intertwined with fresh herbs and topped with crunchy peanuts. Refreshing, satisfying and the perfect lunch treat. Other tried and tested dishes include the yummy Tom Yam and Wan Tan soups, the succulent Yakitori chicken skewers and the Frühlingsrolle (summer rolls), the Gebratene Nudeln (fried noodles) and Eireis eggy rice creations in their various forms.
